The company has also launched a new line of molded case circuit breakers (MCCBs) designed for commercial and utility scale photovoltaic (PV) systems.
The software, which is designed to monitor, track and analyze data from over 100,000 devices at the same time across an enterprise, gathers data and status information from power, environmental, safety and security systems to help firms reduce energy consumption.
Eaton product manager Marcus Maxwell commented, "By providing system scalability to track data from multiple sites at a single location, Foreseer X-Class can help large customers anticipate and solve problems before they occur."
Eaton PVGard circuit breakers, which are used in solar combiner and inverter applications, are rated up to 600A at 1000V direct current.
Eaton product manager Heejung Pudner highlighted that circuit breakers play a vital role in delivering solar energy.
"Designed to PV specific criteria, Eaton PVGard circuit breakers are engineered to enhance safety, increase PV system reliability, provide robust performance and improve sustainability," Punder added.
