The installation of the new processing plant and construction of the associated infrastructure are expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of 2012.
The construction of the facility and associated infrastructure, gathering and compression is expected to cost about $100m, the company said.
Eagle Rock chairman and CEO Joseph Mills said the new project is consistent with the company’s strategy to expand its existing infrastructure to accommodate volumes under new, and existing, long-term acreage dedications.
