With the Campbell Hill project being on line, Duke Energy has 733MW of wind power in commercial operation.

Last week, Duke Energy received a $22m US Department of Energy grant that the company will match to design, build and install a large-scale wind power storage solution at its Notrees site in Texas.

Wouter Kempen, president of Duke Energy Generation Services, said: “There’s a big difference between talking about combating climate change and actually doing something about it. By adding 362MW of wind power in just one year, Duke Energy is showing it’s serious about generating electricity from renewable resources.”
