Planned to be built in Dingyuan, Huaiyuan and Lingbi, in Anhui province, the power plants will feature DP’s high pressure, high temperature boiler technology.

DP’s technology has already been installed in over 50 facilities in China. Everbright’s biomass plants will have the capability to handle further fuel types that include rice husk, cornstalk, wood chip, and cotton and bean residues.

The multi-fuel capabilities will maximize production and annual availability of the facilities. They will use seasonal local biomass waste and secure further revenue streams for farming communities.

DP CleanTech CEO Simon Parker said: "DP CleanTech and Everbright International have cooperated closely since 2010; and DP’s high performance solutions have been an important factor in Everbright International’s successful biomass-to-energy expansion.

"Our relationship has recently been further extended to collaborate on renewable energy projects outside China and through joint R&D and technological integration, we are confident that our companies are well positioned to initiate and execute environmentally beneficial energy solutions around the world."

DP CleanTech is currently responsible for more than 30% of market share of the biomass power plants operating in China.
