Donnybrook Energy reported that the Cequence HZ Simonette well in Canada has reached total measured depth of 4,470m with a horizontal length through the Montney formation of 1,315m.
The company estimates that the completion and fracture operations will take place around mid-January 2011.
Donnybrook also reported that drilling started at the DEI HZ Resthaven well on 31 December 2010 and the operations are underway to run and cement surface casing.
The company now owns working interests in 46 gross sections of Montney petroleum and natural gas rights in its core area of the Alberta Deep Basin.
