Following this acquisition, Det norske oljeselskap (DNO) holds a 7% interest in the Jotun Unit, including the Jotun Field, which is operated by US-based integrated energy giant ExxonMobil. In 2006 and 2007, Jotun produced 12,349 and 9,639 barrels of oil equivalents per day, respectively.

As of December 31, 2007, the operator’s and the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate’s estimates of remaining reserves in the field are 17 million barrels of oil and 0.1 billion cubic meters of gas.
