The power generating station, located in Copenhagen, has three units, of which Unit 2 is currently out of service.
Amager Power Station’s two running units have a total electricity capacity of 319MW and thermal power capacity of 583MW.
The station burns coal as well as biomass in the form of straw pellets and wood pellets, while oil is used only for starting up the plants.
