The CT500 charging station, a 7.2kW single output station, delivers Level II (208/240V at 30Amp) charging for plug-in EVs via SAE J1772 connecter.

The charging station with web enabled user interface is compatible with Leviton’s Evr-Green EVSE installation system, a pre-wire mounting system that is claimed to provide for simple plug-in installation for new charging stations.

All plug-in drivers can have access to the network of EV charging stations by making a call to the number on each charging station, or signing up for a ChargePoint Network monthly access plan and obtaining a ChargePoint ChargePass smart card.

Coulomb’s ChargePoint Network provides authentication, management, and control for the networked EV charging stations. Coulomb will sell CT500 charging stations its OEM and distribution channels.

Richard Lowenthal, CEO Coulomb Technologies, said: “Coulomb has the most comprehensive and established product line and application services offering in the industry.

“The addition of our residential charging stations coincides with the introduction of EVs to the mass market. Our charging stations are available to order today and will bring all of the features and benefits people expect from the ChargePoint Network.”
