Versteeg is also a professor and chairholder of process development and design at Twente. Over the course of his career, he has co-uhored over 200 publications on the subject of CO2 capture and acid gas treating.
On joining CO2 Solution, Versteeg remarked “I am very pleased to be contributing to the development of CO2 Solution’s unique technology, which I firmly believe has the potential to make a significant dent in the cost of carbon capture across a range of solvent based absorption systems. This type of innovation will be critical to making CO2 capture widely viable for large scale application.”
