The company can now retro-fit the Purifilter in majority of the 1994 to 2010 manufactured vehicles with both exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) and non-EGR engines.
Vehicles currently under the radar of the EPA’s National Clean Diesel Campaign and other state and municipal programs aimed at lower emissions could be benefitted by the Purifilter.
Apart from EPA certification, Clean Diesel has products awaiting verification by the California Air Resources Board.
With a 100,000 vehicles requiring either a refit or replacement in California over the next four years, Clean Diesel expects to have the necessary products and expertise to make the most of this opportunity.
