As part of the agreement, Clark and Gilbarco are offering Clark customers a program to upgrade locations that are currently operating G-Site point of sale (POS) systems to Gilbarco’s Passport POS systems.

In the first phase of this strategic alliance, Clark and Gilbarco have developed a comprehensive program, including significant funding by Clark, for Clark customers to transition their G-Site locations to the Passport system. Future initiatives are under development, including a leasing option with a third party vendor and programs for other POS devices.

Gilbarco claimed that the Passport POS system provides an intuitive touch screen interface that minimizes training time, errors and shrinkage. It provides seamless connectivity and standardization, business information and security features, sophisticated business growth tools and easy expandability.

Karl Goodhouse, president of Clark Brands, said: We are pleased and excited to be working with Gilbarco to develop business solutions that add value for our customers’ businesses. Having the right POS systems to meet the payment card industry requirements for secure transactions is important to our licensee and jobber customers and their customers. We believe this strategic alliance with Gilbarco will help our customers in many ways, including offering them the right POS solutions for payment processing.
