China National Heavy Machinery Corporation (CHMC) has signed a contract with Yeti Langtang Hydro Power Pvt. Ltd for EPC work on the 201MW Langtang Khola hydropower project in Nepal.
Located in Langtang in Northern Nepal, the project will become the highest water head hydropower station in Asia upon completion.
The project’s environmental assessment has been completed and the client has received the permit to start work on the project.
CHMC has previously been involved with the project, In July 2017 it signed a contract for technical design and surveys, which have since been approved.
