CGG vessels including Geo Coral, Geo Barents and Pacific Finder will conduct 1,484km² BroadSeis wide-azimuth survey offshore West Africa.

CGG CEO Jean-Georges Malcor said the company has the seismic fleet of high-end vessels and experience in acquiring broadband wide-azimuth marine surveys.

"We are therefore uniquely placed to offer our clients innovative acquisition solutions that deliver the best subsurface images," Malcor added.

Set to commence in mid-October 2013, the program will last for nine months.
