Mr Holub is a graduate from the Czech Technical University in Prague. Between 1992 and 1998 he was a member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, as the chairman of the Economic Commission and the Energy Commission.
Between 1998 and 1999 he was chairman and CEO of Termo Decin. From 1999 to 2002 he was director of strategy and marketing for Cechofracht.
He joined the CEZ Group in 2003 to become chairman of the board of directors and CEO of Severoceska Energetika, where he worked until October 2007. Currently, he works as a specialist in the legislative agenda of CEZ Distribuce.
The changes in management will take place on January 1, 2008, as agreed by the supervisory board and the board of directors of CEZ.
