The company reduced the power unit’s output by about 500MW for planned maintenance on November 16, 2009.

The Pastoria combined cycle power facility, which has a power generation capacity of 724MW, is situated in Lebec in Kern County, about 30 miles south of Bakersfield, California.

The power station includes two heat recovery steam turbines with 169MW and 87MW capacities and three combustion turbines each with 156MW of capacity.
