British Solar Renewables (BSRL) has connected 10 solar farms across the UK totaling 113MW to the grid.

The company’s in-house EPC took in charge of site planning, design and construction, with its subsidiary independent connection provider, Renewable Energy Connections handling the task relating to the linking of solar parks to the grid.

BSRL business development director Giles Frampton said the company is in a position to deliver the same 113MW of solar again in the coming six months.

"In spite of the issues caused by the worst storms and flooding in the UK on record, which ran from December through to February, the BSRL team were able to construct and deliver the parks in time to hit the ROC deadline," Frampton added.

The company claims that with its strong track record of the UK solar farms and existing pipeline projects, it could achieve an annual turnover of around £200m since its launch in 2010.
