The Diego Garcia prospect is a shallow oil and gas prospect in the heart of the rich Hockley, Pettus and Yegua Trend of South Texas.
According to the company, the proposed location is for a 5,600ft test six potential pay zones within the Hockley, Pettus and Yegua sections.
Breitling Oil and Gas chief geologist Joe Simo said if it comes in with just 15ft of good sand in this area, the company can produce north of 500,000 barrels from this well.
The company said additional three wells can be drilled if commercial production is found in the initial test well.
