Conjet has launched a new hydrodemolition robot which it claims can handle 15000hp pump power and is aimed at the large scale removal of damaged concrete from horizontal surfaces. According to Conjet, there is demand for a specialised robot for large scale demolition projects, which form the biggest portion of the hydrodemolition market, and that the solution is Robot 432 D.
The robot supports and directs a high pressure water jetting nozzle, which is connected to an oscillating cassette running back and forth along a feed beam producing a standard cutting width of 2.2m. To improve safety, Conjet has set all the robot’s operational parameters on a display away from the hazardous cutting area. The shroud, which is integrated into the feed beam, is also extra large for better protection against flying debris and noise.
