Moscow's largest filling station network Association Grand's ownership has reportedly changed, according to Interfax, which cited an undisclosed company source.

Interfax reported that the filling station franchise has been owned by oil firm Russneft since 2005.

Association Grand has reportedly confirmed that Maxim Khitrov, who was the first deputy director of Lukoil’s Severo-Zapadnefteprodukt petroleum product division, has been appointed as the firm’s general director.

Interfax cited Russian oil major Lukoil as saying that it did not acquire the filling station network. Association Grand also reportedly declined to confirm if the ownership had indeed changed.

The filling station network reportedly accounts for 12% of Moscow’s fuel market and is made up of around 95 stations across the city, according to Interfax.
