The company plans to submit a formal application to initiate public consultation and assessment process for the graphite mine after a review.
Archer said that it will use open cut mining methods at Campoona Shaft, and it plans to carry out mining during autumn and spring.
The company expects to mine 1.65 million tonnes of graphite over a period of 14 years from the Campoona Shaft.
Archer is also planning to construct a graphite processing and manufacturing facility at its 561ha Sugarloaf property.
Archer Exploration has also established a Community Consultative Committee (CCC), which includes representatives of most sections of the community in the area along with representatives of Archer to discuss technical, environmental, and social studies that are being conducted through the development of the mining proposal.
