Earlier this year, Anesco has installed a 25.3kWp solar photovoltaic (PV) system at the housing association’s head offices in Yeovil, and a further 28.75kWp system at Yarlington Property Management.
Following these earlier installations, Anesco has now contracted to install a further five schemes that are expected to generate 151.57kWp of solar PV.
The schemes will be installed across five commercial sites, with the company operating a unique 25-year installations and maintenance package to ensure they continue to operate at optimum efficiency, Anesco said.
The solar PV systems enable the housing group to reduce its carbon emissions and energy bills, and the group will be benefited from the Government’s Feed in Tariffs.
Anesco offers energy efficiency and micro-generation services to the customers, including solar power, renewable heating, insulation and building energy management systems, as well as energy efficiency consulting.
Yarlington Housing Group owns and manages almost 9,000 affordable homes across the South West of England.
