The company’s wholly-owned Tanzanian subsidiary, Ndovu Resources, has been awarded this PSA, known as The Nyuni Area PSA.
The PSA replaces the Nyuni-West Songo-Songo PSA which is expiring on completion of its full term and satisfaction of work obligations.
Aminex and its partners have already drilled four wells in this area, two of which were discoveries of gas.
The Nyuni Area PSA includes an additional four contiguous blocks totalling 338 sq km to the north of the previous licence area.
Ndovu Resources holds a 70% working interest in the Nyuni PSA, with RAK Gas and Bounty Oil holding 25% and 5% interests, respectively.
