Each Boston iGloo 24T-StorMagic IP SAN utilizes a 3ware 9650SE-24M8 24-port SATA RAID PCI-e controller, which features 512MB cache and a battery backup unit (BBU). Supporting the RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 and hot-standby, the 3ware 9650SE controller supervises a raw pool of 24TB capacity that is easily configured into multiple volumes by user.
