This order is valued at approximately SEK80m ($9.6m).
As per the terms of the contract, the company has to deliver the order in 2016.
Alfa Laval’s compact heat exchangers will be used for heat recovery in the process where heavy crude oil is upgraded to ultra-low sulfur transportation fuels.
The company claimed that by reusing heat in the oil refining process, energy efficiency can be maximized.
Alfa Laval Group CEO and president Lars Renström said: "Oil refining is a very energy-intensive process. By using our efficient compact heat exchangers the producer can save energy and thereby improve their bottom-line."
