Construction of the facility was completed in July, 2009 on a 600 acre campus owned by the Panjit Group. The facility features manufacturing lines that increases the company’s poly and mono-crystalline silicon photovoltaic (PV) module capacity by 40% to 350MW annually.
In addition, the facility houses 12 solar cell production lines. The opening of the facility brings the number of Aide Solar employees to 1,184 globally.
Jason Fang, chairman of Aide Solar, said: “The widespread adoption of solar power continues to gain traction globally, and has increased in importance as a viable source of renewable energy. The opening of this facility is a demonstration of Aide Solar’s commitment to expanding our success by providing highly reliable and cost-effective solar products to meet that increasing global demand.”
