The 21.18MWp first phase of the Starokozache Power Station had been completed on 19 June 2012.
Featuring 185,952 multi-crystalline photovoltaic modules and 41 inverters, the plant is located on 80ha and will generate 54,106 megawatt hours of electricity to meet the power needs of 11,000 households.
Active Solar in a statement quoted by pv-magazine.com said that the Starokozache Power Station is the company’s first photovoltaic project in the Odessa region.
"Owing to this region’s favorable conditions for photovoltaic installations, the company is currently developing and constructing further solar parks in the region," said the company.
The company has installed over 200MW of photovoltaics in Ukraine.
