Wood Group Power has acquired gas turbine accessory, repair and overhaul company H&L Accessory for around $12 million. H&L was founded in 1990 by two former Allied Signal employees. The company specialises in developing proprietary repairs, particularly for thermocouple and electrical components.
According to Wood Group Power, there is a huge amount of complementary capability between H&L and the Wood Group operation. The latter specialises in gas turbine maintenance, repair and overhaul. Last year Wood Group announced acquisition of Mustang Engineering Inc for $110 million.
