Southridge Enterprises, a renewable energy company concentrating on ethanol, has announced that its wholly owned subsidiary Southridge Ethanol has signed a letter of intent with Advanced Petroleum Technologies.

The agreement would allow Southridge to acquire Advanced Petroleum Technologies’s (APT) products known as Formula X-12. Southridge is keen to establish a facility to blend APT’s product with its SR85 ethanol at the company’s site in Sledge, Mississippi.

Southridge claims that by blending Formula X-12 with its 85%-pure ethanol product the energy yield would increase by a minimum of 10%. Formula X-12 is a molecular nano-technology that reduces pollutants and toxic emissions to negligible levels, with no metals and all natural non-toxic byproducts.
