Great Pacific International, through its wholly owned subsidiary GPI Oil and Gas, has purchased additional petroleum and natural gas leases for two sections of land (1,280 acres) in Alberta, Canada.

The new leases are located in northern Alberta, where the company is now directing its exploration and development activities.

The company’s total holdings have now increased to over 26,280 gross acres (over 24,780 net acres) in Alberta.

The company said it now plans to continue acquisitions, adding to its land base for further exploration and development.

Great Pacific International is engaged in the exploration and development of natural gas and crude oil.
