The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has allocated a €5m loan to DSK Bank to support energy efficiency improvements in Bulgaria.
EBRD’s loan will help DSK Bank to finance energy investments undertaken by Bulgarian households.
The investments include thermal insulation of walls, installation of energy efficient windows, boilers and central heating systems.
The project will help improve the energy efficiency of residential sector in Bulgaria.
It will also support the implementation of the European Directive on energy performance of buildings in Bulgaria.
The EBRD loan is part of the EBRD’s Residential Energy Efficiency Credit Line framework aimed at addressing energy wastage in Bulgaria’s residential sector.
