American Standard Energy has acquired approximately 10,147 acres located within eight counties of North Dakota from Geronimo Holding Corp.
The acquisition represents the single largest Bakken acquisition to date for the company and increases its Bakken holdings to over 16,000 acres.
The location of the acreage places the company near or adjacent to signification operations within each of the counties represented in the acquisition including Mountrail, Williams, Southern Burke and McKenzie counties.
American Standard Energy CEO Scott Feldhacker said that this acquisition provides the company an opportunity to further increase its operational outlook.
American Standard Energy is a non-operator oil and gas exploration and production company.
