A draft bill is being debated in Greece which is designed to encourage investment in renewable generation.
According to development minister Dimitris Sioufas, the new bill will create a new licensing framework for renewables that “will limit bureaucracy and provide incentives to promote investment in wind, solar and geothermal energy.”
The new bill is due to be presented to parliament for approval in February.
