Process Principle
COS destruction by catalytic hydrolysis at moderate
temperature in gas phase
• Hydrolysis reactor integrated with the amine
absorber
• Partially sweetened gas is sent to hydrolysis
reactor
• Almost complete COS destruction on proprietary
catalyst
• After COS destruction, gas is sent back to amine
absorber for H2S (and CO2 if needed) polishing
