Quadruple accreditation standards for Subsea Innovation

ISO 14001 is the principal management system standard which specifies the requirements for the formulation and maintenance of an Environmental Management System. This helps to control the environmental aspects, reduce impacts and ensure the legal compliance of a business.

OHSAS 18001 is an internationally accepted certification for the method of assessing and auditing the occupational health and safety management systems. This is aimed at minimising risks, providing a safe working environment for both employees and visitors, and demonstrates a commitment to maintaining an effective Health & Safety policy.

These new awards add to the ISO: 9001 and ISO: 29001 which represent the Quality Management Systems that Subsea Innovation operates, with ISO: 29001 being specific to the Oil & Gas sector.

Attaining these four globally recognised standards is a major achievement and reflects the high standards and commitment to;
Safety, Quality and the Environment, from initial design to delivery of the finished product.

This accreditation has been secured less than 12 months after the company moved into a purpose built 40,000 square foot facility in Darlington which trebled its design and manufacture capability.
