Being the engineering, procurement and construction contractor for the project, RES will begin constructing the wind farm in Beaver County, Oklahoma immediately.
During the construction phase, the project is expected to create nearly 300 jobs.
The wind farm with 60 Vestas 3.3MW V117 wind turbine generators would generate close to 845,000MWh of clean electricity annually.

Vestas Wind Systems will begin the delivery of the turbines during the third quarter of 2016, with commissioning planned for the final quarter of that year, as reported by SeeNews Renewables.
The electricity generated at the wind farm will be sold to technology company Google, under a power purchase agreement.
Bluestem is RES’ seventh and will be Exelon Generation’s first wind project in the state.

Said to be 12th largest wind producer in the US, Exelon has a combined 1,500MW of wind generation and more under construction.
