Chile’s Department of Electrical Energy and Fuels has submitted to the Ministry of Finance the terms of the concession granted for the operation of the Ralco hydro power plant.
The Finance Ministry is expected to prepare within the next few weeks a decree authorising Endesa to continue building the 570MW Ralco hydro plant in Alto Bio Bio (VIII Region).
The power plant is scheduled to start operating by January 2003.
