The company will utilize the new office as platform to enter and make a strong foothold in the solar PV power generation market in Eastern Europe, including Czech Republic and nearby countries.

The new office will also help Premier Power in the development of 19MW of solar projects with Plaan, a Czech engineering firm involved in the design, project management, and implementation of solar PV power plants.

The demand for solar electric power generation in the Czech Republic is estimated to be greater than 900MW for 2010, thereby providing Premier Power with considerable opportunity to use its new office to cater to the PV market.

Premier Power Europe vice president of sales and business development Alexis Issaharoff said that similar to its interests and operations in Italy and Spain, the company sees opportunities in the Czech Republic and its neighbor countries as a complement to what it is doing elsewhere in Europe.
