NanoInk, Inc. (NanoInk) said that its NanoFabrication Systems Division has signed a distribution agreement with Quantum Design International (Quantum Design) for China and India. NanoInk's European distribution is already provided by LOT-Oriel, a subsidiary of Quantum Design. NanoInk will now have a single distributor for the majority of its international markets for all nanofabrication equipment.

We are extremely pleased that an established distributor in Asia, with visibility and presence in the nanotechnology market, has validated our confidence in the future of the Dip Pen Nanolithography, said Tom Levesque, vice president of NanoInk’s Nanofabrication Systems Division. With the introduction of our two new desktop nanofabrication systems, the DPN 5000 and NLP 2000, we are experiencing the migration from solely research-minded customers to those investigating actual nanofabrication, and Quantum Design is well positioned to help us in the transition.

Gerald Daviess, president of Quantum Design, said, It is our great pleasure to be able to add NanoInk’s DPN products to the international distribution network we have established. The combination of NanoInk’s exciting new nanofabrication systems, and the technical sales and support teams we have in China and India presents a significant opportunity for both companies.

NanoInk, Inc. is a US based company.
