Micronetics, Inc. (Micronetics) said that its subsidiary, Microwave Concepts, Inc. (Micro-Con) has received over $8 million firm fixed contract from a defense contractor. The contract is for microwave assemblies that are used in a high performance jamming system. The contract finalization has started with advanced funding received by the company in June 2008. Hardware deliveries to this contract have started in the third quarter of fiscal 2009 and will continue for 18 months.

Demand for this jamming system has been strong and the additional system add-ons are anticipated over the next 6 months.
