Met-Pro Corporation (Met-Pro) said that its subsidiary, Mefiag Nederland B.V. (Mefiag) has received two $650,000 orders for high-efficiency filtration systems. One order is for a supplier of high quality storage products in Germany, and the other for plating on plastic plant in the Czech Republic. All of the equipment is anticipated to ship in the first quarter of the company's next fiscal year starting on February 1, 2009.

The filtration systems, which use Mefiag’s high flow horizontal disc filters and also the company’s Fybroc and Mefiag corrosion resistant pumps, will be installed on the automated copper, nickel and chrome plating lines. Mefiag’s filtration systems were selected for their ability to meet stringent requirements and offer the level of filtration necessary to produce the high quality finished parts.

These orders are another example of our competitive advantage in utilizing multiple Met-Pro products to develop comprehensive filtration systems to solve the difficult corrosion and filtration challenges of the plating and metal finishing industries, stated Raymond J. De Hont, chairman and chief executive officer of Met-Pro. They validate Mefiag’s reputation as a supplier of choice for the toughest, most corrosive filtration applications in the plating and metal finishing industries while also demonstrating Met-Pro’s broad international reach.
