Spanish power giant Endesa has acquired 46% of the total interconnector capacity between France and Italy that has been sold by the French system operators in December.
The deal brings to more than 35% Endesa’s stake of the total energy put out to tender in the past ten months, equivalent to 255 MW or 1,347 GWh, which will allow the group to provide electricity in the Italian market.
