EMCOR Group, Inc. (EMCOR) said that Havel Bros. Division of its subsidiary, Shambaugh & Son, L.P. (Shambaugh & Son), has received a contract from University of Notre Dame. The contract is for the installation of building automation systems at the new engineering hall in Indiana. The new facility, which will be named Stinson-Remick Hall, is three stories above grade with a full basement totaling 163,500 square feet and a 9,000 square foot clean room.

This facility will be seeking leadership in energy and environmental design (LEED) certification upon completion.

Shambaugh & Son, chosen by the University as its sole provider of automation and controls for construction, maintenance and energy conservation measures will be responsible for providing the HVAC controls and the Fume Hood Controls for the new facility currently under construction on the campus.
