These nuclear power station security upgrades include installation of multi-layer security systems including ECSI’s Infrared Perimeter Intrusion Detection (IPID) system, Fiber Optic Intelligence Detection System (FOIDS), Intelligent Video Motion Detection (IVMD) and thermal imaging technology.
“These security upgrades have been in the planning stage since the 2001 terror attacks against our domestic assets. It seems the nuclear facility security upgrades are now being implemented at an accelerated pace.
