The Greenfield facility, a 50-50 joint venture between the two companies, is a combined-cycle power generation plant that is designed to meet the demand for electricity in Ontario.

Located in Courtright, near Sarnia, Ontario, the 1,153MW power station is fueled by clean natural gas and utilizes combined-cycle technology. The plant has three combustion turbine units (units 1-3) and one steam turbine unit (unit 4).

The Greenfield facility is operated under a power supply agreement of 20-years with the Ontario Power Authority.
