Through its US subsidiary, Bord na Mona Environmental Products, has been providing a range of high-performance wastewater treatment, water reuse and odor-abatement solutions to a mix of residential customers, large municipal organizations, and community developers across the nation.

The new center coincides with Bord na Mona’s expansion in the US with the recent launch of MONASHELL, a odor/VOC control solutions, along with the PuraM, PuraMAX, & PuraSAF packaged wastewater treatment systems. Additionally to demonstrating these newly introduced technologies, the center features product development efforts that include a residential compact membrane, the PuraMc, and a de-nitrification system, Pura-DN.

The center will allow potential customers to view the company’s treatment processes in operation and to get third-party performance data showing the specific treatment capabilities of each process. It will also enable existing customers to preview new technologies and improved treatment processes, and see them in operation prior to making changes at their plant. Where appropriate, the center will be utilized to partner with clients to undertake customized product development.

Shane Keaney, president of Bord na Mona US noted, Bord na Mona is committed to providing innovative wastewater, water reuse and air pollution solutions that reduce energy and chemical consumption, incorporate recycled or waste materials, and provide for water conservation. We’re excited to open our innovation center and very pleased to be partnering with North Carolina State University in verifying the performance of our cutting-edge solutions.
