OSV design, efficiency and the environment
Bjørn-Johan Vartdal is project manager of the FellowSHIP III project for introducing a hybrid power system on the offshore supply vessel Viking Lady, and heads the section for research on maritime transport in DNV GL. He has a background in mechanical engineering and has worked in DNV for 13 years within classification, advisory and research.
