Paxman has supplied a 12VP185 engine for a 2 MWe genset for operation in in Israel, and to be used for emergency duty at the Dead Sea Works Israel.
The Paxman 12VP185 provides an output of 2165 kWe at 1500 r/min. Special engine features include pneumatically operated air shutdown flap valves, IP.55 starter motors on priming pumps, and cooling radiators.
