Alphatec uses their expert regrouting to repair Wind Turbine foundations

Invariably, the main causes of problems have been one of these; unbonded construction joints (cold joints) in the foundation, grout failures and bad anchoring design or installation. In other words the mechanical/civil interface, where the main load transfers occur.

Not surprisingly, the same issues are the most probable cause for all the wind mill foundation problems that Alphatec has recently collaborated to analyse, assess and repair.
